New “Spores” for the Psacred Passage Ministry Program

The Psacred Passage Ministry of Psanctuary has released new “spores” that promise the further development and expansion of this important ministry. The Psacred Passage Ministry Training program launched with its first cohort in September. The cohort includes twelve Ministers in Training who are in the process of completing the four week course and will be ordained by the end of October. These ministers will provide Psacred Passage ceremony support to Friends and Family as they gain experience. Theses current Friends and Family ministers are learning all of the information needed to effectively and safely serve those who are at various stages of facing a life threatening illness.

Another amazing development is the partnership between Psanctuary and Harmony Palliative Arts Collective located in Nashville, Indiana. Harmony aims to provide a place where individuals and their families can go free of charge to sacredly experience end of life. The Harmony group of Psanctuary members has also opened its doors to provide a place for other Psanctuary events including healing circles, Men’s circles, grief retreats, and sacrament retreats. We are excited and extremely grateful to be able to work together to provide such comprehensive death support.

In addition, as Jason Eftink travels his journey of end of life, we are coming together as a Community and showing the world what community death support is all about. Jason’s journey, including Psanctuary’s community involvement, is being documented by a professional video production team in hopes that someday this amazing example of love and support will be able to be viewed by the world.
