Foundations Members have completed Psanctuary’s 4-week Foundations Course — a deep dive into the heart, history, and practice of our community. You’ll explore:

• We Are an Actual Church + Welcome Everything – Our legal & spiritual framework, why we use sacrament, and how we balance freedom with responsibility. The “Welcome Everything” agreement invites you to meet each experience — from joy to discomfort — with openness and curiosity.

• Sacred History & Our Origin Story + Check & Own Your Experience – From ancient mushroom traditions to modern revival, and the powerful story of our founders’ arrest and response. The “Check and Own Your Experience” agreement encourages you to pause, reflect, and take responsibility for your own perspective and reactions.

• Group Ceremony, Ministry & Service + Reveal Your Experience – How we hold space, paths to ministry, and ways to serve and be supported. The “Reveal Your Experience” agreement calls you to share your inner truth with courage, allowing deeper connection and transformation.

• Community Collaboration + Honor Self & Other – Our holocratic, mycelial leadership model and how you can co-create within our values-based culture. The “Honor Self & Other” agreement reminds you to respect your own boundaries and needs while honoring those of others.

Become one here! Completing the 4 week course is the first step to joining member-only ceremonies and stepping fully into our community.

Yes. Psanctuary does not provide tents or gear for anyone - you must bring your tent, camping gear, food, snacks, a reusable water bottle and water (if you don't want to drink from the tap) and anything else you would normally pack for a camping trip.

Tent Camping: You will need to bring your own tent and camping supplies. You will need to reserve your camping space separately directly from the site owner (we will provide a link following registration). Each site can accommodate two people in a shared tent. Up to two members that are tent camping together will only need to purchase one camp site.

You will only need to purchase camping for one night, unless you'd like to extend your stay by arriving earlier and/or staying later. 

You may reserve an RV or Lodging on site instead of a primitive camping site (link will be provided following registration).

This is a ZERO WASTE campsite (what you pack in, you must pack out).

Available on the campsite is:

• Primitive campsite (or other lodging option if you've selected one)
• A bath and wash house with shower, toilet, sink access + porta-johns.

These amenities are basic but functional.

Included in the ceremony are 2 group calls with the community minister leading the ceremony. We highly encourage all attendees to be at these calls and only miss due to an emergency.

• 1 preparatory, online group call via zoom in the week prior to the ceremony*
• 1 integration, online group call via zoom in the week following the ceremony*

  There will also be onsite group preparation and integration before and after communion.

No. This ceremony is for eligible registered members only. 

It is a priority for us to maintain accessibility for these ceremonies, and we are grateful to offer these ceremonies on an open heart, donation basis.

You can donate as little as $0 or up to $500 or more—every amount helps sustain this rare space where committed members and trained ministers hold open-heart communion on a pure donation basis.

You will need to submit a $25/per night payment (via HipCamp) to the private property hosting us, after completing your registration with Psanctuary.

The sacrament is given by the church to members for communion at this service (and for communion at this service only) for no charge.

After you register, you will receive an email with a link to the Hipcamp site where you can go to pay for your campsite. 

There will be only 2 meals provided. Everyone is asked to bring their own food besides what is listed below: 

• Saturday evening - Post communion dinner (vegetarian warm soup and a hearty bread or casserole)
• Sunday morning -Breakfast (vegetarian egg and spinach casserole with continental style breakfast)

Registration will close when we have 25 members registered or on the day of the pre-ceremony preparation call, whichever comes first.
