What you expect to get from the experience and what you end up experiencing can be in opposition. For me, the mushroom gave me what I needed, not what I expected. And, it was more meaningful than I expected in what it showed me. To have someone there who has experience, can provide support, who knows what questions to ask, and introduces a community to grow with makes it much more than a destination vacation spot.
