Women's 8 Week Subtle Sacrament

Psanctuary's Subtle Sacrament (SS) practice format provides a framework to tune in with each minister's intuition with .10-.99 gram doses over the course of 8 weeks.

Our SS communion practice is built with our guiding principles in mind:

• We trust the Mushroom to guide us.
• We believe in individual, personal responsibility. 
• We admit that we do not know, we are here discovering with you. 
• We are an inclusive community 
• As we believe in sovereignty, we follow a decentralized model.
• We strive to provide safe and supported access to anyone who is seeking, as it is our God given right to commune with our sacrament.

Female identifying people who have been official Psanctuary members for a minimum of 4 weeks, and feel a calling to be a part of and contribute to our growing community of women.

Prior to gaining access to the program, participants must read the enclosed materials and sign the diversion agreement and liability waiver. These waivers will require your acknowledgment and agreement to the following conditions:

• Program eligibility is open to female identifying people who are official Psanctuary members over the age of 20 and in good standing for a minimum of four weeks. 
• Members who have been diagnosed with Schizophrenia or Bipolar type 1 will not be permitted to participate due to the contraindications for mental health.
• Members taking Lithium or any variation thereof are not eligible. Lithium and its variants reliably produce seizures in 50% of individuals who consume this medication along with sacred mushrooms. 

The weekly virtual women's circles are held in the spirit of loving authenticity and collaboration. There will be one, 90 minute virtual women's circle call via zoom each week, for 8 weeks.

The format of each circle will stay the same with the themes shifting and will generally look like:

• Short introduction and state of being
• Meditation 
• Journaling
• Authentic relating and communication activity
• Closing meditation 

The circle calls are on Mondays from 6:30-8 pm ET/ 3:30-5:00 pm PT beginning on Monday, March 18th, going through Monday, May 6th.

The private Hangout Room will be hosted throughout the week on the Marco Polo platform. Here we will exchange video messages touching base around subtle sacrament practice questions, life happenings, asking for and providing feedback, and celebrating highlights of our days together.

If you need to miss a call, that's ok! We now have our most flexible attendance policy yet.

If you find that you have missed more than 4 calls, on any call missed after the 4th call make sure to watch the call recording and submit a paragraph summary (see the next post).

We encourage all women participating to touch base on our Marco Polo hangout room throughout the week. Especially if you find you're not able to attend as many circle calls as you were hoping you'd be able to!

I have been so grateful to add authentic relating activities to my wellness coaching tool box in the past 5 or so years. These practices have proven to be invaluable in my own preparation and integration process with the sacrament, particularly when it comes to communicating feelings and needs with others.

These are practices you can do every day, 1:1 or with groups like this, and there’s always something new to be discovered - these activities never seem to get old! 

• 3 types of relating:
• Surface level: external. Stating external facts.
  Ex: This is my first time doing an activity like this.
• Personal: relating internal to external.
  Ex: I’m feeling excited and a little nervous about doing an activity like this. 
• Relational: relating internal to internal.
  Ex: When I hear you say that, I feel like I want you to know I'm confident in you even though you're nervous.
• We hear a lot about what happens during a sacred mushroom communion, but not nearly as much about what happens before and what happens after a sacred mushroom communion.
  
  I've experienced first hand how powerful it can be to practice unpeeling the layers of our life experience particularly while connecting authentically with others in the moments weaved around subtle sacrament communions. 

Authentic relating activities give us a safe and simple format to do just that.

These practices are a collection of extensively tested and facilitator-led experiences that give participants a hands-on taste of both the joy and skills of interpersonal connection. 

You can expect to dedicate 2-3 hours per week (including 1 live call, the virtual hangout room, and submitting your weekly sacrament report).

Yes! As long as you continue to fulfill the requirements for the SS program you are eligible to continue re-enrolling.

We offer our subtle sacrament minister programs on a quarterly enrollment basis.
