Psilobration

Psilobration, a joyful gathering limited to 30 participants, including ministers and the support team. Set against Mount Desert Island's serene backdrop, our celebration is a light-hearted communion with a low dose (1-3g) of sacrament, with ordained ministers and support staff holding space. Enjoy a nourishing post-communion meal and breakfast, camp under starlit canopies, and immerse in togetherness. (As always, preparation and integration will be a top-priority.) Join our Psilobration— for a unique event blending joy, connection, nature, and the sacred mushroom's embrace.

A tapestry of sacred connection unfolds as we invite you to our very first Maine Psilobration—an intimate ceremony of celebration reserved exclusively for a small number of Psanctuary members. Join us in the lightness of spirit and the joy of connection, set against the backdrop of Mount Desert Island's serene beauty.

Location: A private sanctuary, a hidden gem on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Here, amidst some of nature's greatest wonders, let's gather!

Date and Time: Wednesday- Thursday, May 15-16, let the joyous vibrations of our Psilobration unfold. The ceremony officially begins Wednesday afternoon at 1pm and dances into the night. All participants are asked to arrive by noon in order to properly establish the set and setting.

Sacred Communion: In the spirit of mirth and unity, partake in a celebratory low dose of sacrament (1-3 grams). This is a chance to connect, make memories, and explore the magic within each other. Facilitated by Psanctuary ordained ministers and support staff, this ceremony space is intended as a sacred playground for shared joy and laughter and whatever else the mushrooms bring forth.

Nourishment for Body and Soul: Enjoy a healthy evening meal and wake up to a light, nutritious breakfast.

Cost: $350. Funds raised will go directly to supporting Psanctuary sponsorship and community offerings at the Maine Fungi Fest.

Stephen

To be in the company and care of dedicated and compassionate people allowed me to feel at ease before, during, and after taking the sacrament. The small group setting encouraged camaraderie and the sharing of personal stories.  Integration before and after helped prepare for, and more fully consider the experience afterwards. The meals were ample, varied, and so delicious. I cannot think of a single need that wasn’t thought of and provided. I would and most certainly hope to return for another retreat.
