Sunday Service Meditation Leaders

(East Coast and West Coast Services)

We are seeking qualified, passionate, and committed volunteers who have consistently attended and enjoyed our weekly Sunday Services. Psanctuary needs assistance in the 5 minute meditation portion of our service each week with rotating volunteers.

Volunteer Job Responsibilities include:

• Regularly attending our Sunday Services (ideally at least bi-weekly, so you are familiar with the ongoing style and evolution of our services).
• Being present and attentive for the Sunday Services you are volunteering to lead the 5 minute meditation at
• Leading a pleasant, spiritually focused and timely meditation that is widely accessible to our audience at Sunday Service
• Communicating with Psanctuary leadership for troubleshooting and when not able to fulfill attendance duty in a timely manner
• Acquiring another trained volunteer to fill in, in a timely manner when needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in leading a group meditation 10+ times 
• Affluence in Zoom platform

Current Time Commitment:

• Available to volunteer for one Sunday Service a month

Sunday Service Announcement Readers

(East Coast and West Coast Services)

We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and committed volunteer who has consistently attended and enjoyed our weekly Sunday Services. Psanctuary needs assistance in reading our weekly upcoming events announcements. 

Volunteer Job Responsibilities include:

• Logging in and being attentive throughout our Sunday Services during one chosen Sunday a month (Sunday at 10 am ET, and the first Sunday a month at 10 am PT)
• Checking and confirming email with the volunteer coordinator for the upcoming Sunday announcements
• Communicating with Psanctuary leadership for troubleshooting and when not able to fulfill attendance duty
• Acquiring another trained volunteer to fill in in a timely manner when needed

Qualifications:

• Affluence in reading and speaking
• Affluence in Zoom platform

Current Time Commitment:

• One Sunday service per month

Sunday Service Tao Te Ching and Rotating Text Readers

(East Coast and West Coast Services)

We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and committed volunteer who has consistently attended and enjoyed our weekly Sunday Services. Psanctuary needs assistance in reading our Sunday Tao Te Ching chapter and rotating text. 

Volunteer Job Responsibilities include:

• Logging in and being attentive throughout our Sunday Services during one chosen Sunday a month (Sunday at 10 am ET, and the first Sunday a month at 10 am PT)
• Checking and confirming email with the volunteer coordinator for the upcoming Sunday reading
• Communicating with Psanctuary leadership for troubleshooting and when not able to fulfill attendance duty

Marketing Campaign Manager

We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and committed volunteer who thrives in the world of marketing strategy and merchandising. Psanctuary needs assistance in executing marketing campaigns through email and social media.

Volunteer Job Responsibilities include:

• Creating social Media Copy for merchandise marketing and sales.
• Creating visually appealing in alignment with Psanctuary's branding through our Canva team account, and scheduling posting on relevant platforms (email and social media).
• Email marketing campaign creation for events and programs (email blasts, email sequences)
• Co-creation of merchandise marketing campaigns alongside the merchandise manager and the leadership team
• Updating Leadership Team bi-weekly with reports and troubleshooting 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in a professional marketing management role
• Affluence in email communication
• Experience in web platform development and maintenance (like MailChimp, wix, Squarespace, Kajabi)
• A drive to positively impact and grow our community with the energy you'll bring to Psanctuary's volunteer team

Current Time Commitment:

• Up to 10 hours per week

Data Manager and Metrics Facilitator

We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and committed volunteer who has consistently attended and enjoyed our church services and offerings. The Data Manager and Metrics Facilitator creates a regularly updated metrics dashboard providing information to help better manage and create, and share with the community and others our story. Ultimately, we are looking to measure impact to individuals, the community and the broader world.  To get started, this role is tasked with creating and maintaining a regular dashboard of metrics identifying demographic data and participation trends for membership and programming.   The Data Manager and Metrics Facilitator is also focused on keeping data safe, secure,  and private.

Online Merchandise Manager

Psanctuary sells online merchandise through a platform called Shopify and we need a committed volunteer to help us manage our online store! The merchandise is maintained through both bulk physical inventory (like T-shirts and medicinal mushroom powders) and a dropshipping supplier called Printful.

Volunteer Job Responsibilities include:

• Co-creation of merchandise marketing campaigns alongside the leadership team and marketing manager
• Maintaining accurate physical inventory on Shopify 
• Shipping orders out per listed shipping guarantee
• Updating listings on Shopify, creating discount codes and sales promotions per marketing and leadership team requests
• Creation and maintenance of Shopify website (backend and front facing website)
• Updating Leadership Team bi-weekly with sales reports and troubleshooting
• Positively communicating with customer inquiries within 24 hours

Qualifications:

• Lives local to Louisville, KY to transfer inventory
• 5+ years experience in a professional retail and customer service role
• 5+ years experience in a professional marketing role
• Affluence in email communication
• Experience in web platform development and maintenance (like Shopify)

YouTube Video Uploader

Position Overview:
The YouTube Video Uploader (Volunteer) will assist in managing and uploading content (primarily Sunday Service Recordings) to the Psanctuary YouTube channel, ensuring each video is properly formatted, titled, and scheduled for release. This role is crucial in maintaining a consistent upload schedule and optimizing videos for visibility. The volunteer will work closely with content creators or team members to ensure that all videos meet the channel’s quality and branding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Upload Videos: Handle the process of uploading videos to the YouTube channel, ensuring correct formatting and high-quality output.
• Optimize Metadata: Ensure that each video has appropriate titles, tags, and descriptions optimized for SEO and discoverability.
• Thumbnails & Playlists: Upload custom thumbnails and organize videos into playlists for easy navigation and better user experience.
• Video Scheduling: Schedule video releases at optimal times based on the channel’s strategy or guidelines.
• Monitor Uploads: Ensure that uploaded videos process correctly and address any issues like processing errors or copyright claims.
• Collaborate with Content Creators: Coordinate with video creators to ensure timely receipt of video files and any necessary information (such as descriptions or tags).
• Follow YouTube Guidelines: Stay up to date with YouTube’s guidelines and policies to ensure all uploads are compliant.
• Track Upload Performance: Monitor the video upload process and provide feedback to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with YouTube: Must have experience using YouTube's Creator Studio and an understanding of its upload features.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to input metadata, titles, descriptions, and tags accurately.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple uploads and scheduling consistently.
• Basic Video Knowledge: Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and file sizes to ensure the best quality for uploads.
• Team Communication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with content creators and other team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing or volunteering on a YouTube channel or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and YouTube algorithms.
• Familiarity with video editing tools (not required to edit, but to understand video formatting).

Hours and Commitment:
This is a volunteer position with a general commitment of 1-2 hours per week, depending on the number of videos and the upload schedule.

Psanctuary Private Discord Server Moderator

Position Overview:
The Discord Server Moderator will be responsible for maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all members of the server. The moderator ensures that the community guidelines are followed, promotes engagement, handles disputes, and assists with server organization. The role requires excellent communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a solid understanding of Discord’s platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Activity: Regularly monitor server channels to ensure a welcoming and respectful atmosphere. Identify and address inappropriate content or behavior swiftly.
• Enforce Rules: Uphold community guidelines, enforce server rules, and take appropriate action (warnings, mutes, bans) for violations.
• Assist Members: Provide support to server members by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding new users on how to use the server effectively.
• Moderate Conversations: Mediate discussions to prevent conflicts and ensure that conversations remain respectful and on-topic.
• Promote Engagement: Encourage participation and interaction among members by initiating discussions, events, or community-building activities.
• Handle Reports: Address any user reports about rule violations or inappropriate behavior and take action accordingly.
• Server Maintenance: Assist in managing and organizing server channels, roles, and permissions to maintain server efficiency.
• Collaborate with Admins: Work closely with server admins to implement server changes, updates, or events, and suggest improvements where necessary.
• Event Support: Assist in the coordination and moderation of server events, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to the rules.

Qualifications:

• Friends and Family Minister: Must have a fundamental understanding of the culture of Psanctuary, which can be assisted by the 16 weeks of education and community engagement involved in becoming an ordained Friends and Family Minister.
• Familiarity with Discord: Must have experience using Discord and knowledge of its features, including moderation tools like bots.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with members from diverse backgrounds.
• Conflict Resolution Skills: Experience in resolving conflicts or mediating discussions to maintain harmony in the community.
• Patience & Empathy: Able to handle situations with a calm, professional demeanor, even in stressful or challenging circumstances.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other moderators and server administrators.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience moderating a Discord server or similar online communities.
• Familiarity with bots and automation tools (such as MEE6, Dyno, or Carl-bot).
• Knowledge of community-building strategies and engagement techniques.

Hours and Commitment:

• Moderators are expected to be active and available for a minimum of 2-3 hours per week. Flexibility to respond to urgent issues is a plus.
